For less powerful wielders, the artifact has been employed to devastate the landscape.
In the First Dragon Wake (218 GE - 235 GE), a former Covenant soldier named Tiamat utilized this device to reshape the land surrounding her base. The Volfdir Jollrod tore substantial portions from the earth, forming a floating field of debris across a vast expanse that became known as Gelok Himdah, the Lifted Land.
