Godstone

The Godstone was constructed by Ares and Tarâk. This majestic obelisk stands 200 feet tall, its surface etched with intricate runes. The runes recount the tale of their creation of a colossal hecatoncheires and the massive iron scaffolding towers they erected. The runes further detail the formidable power of this monstrous entity as it tore through the armies of the primordials, ultimately turning the tide of the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) .

When the hecatoncheires were roused, the land convulsed and heaved upwards. This upheaval of earth and stone forged a ring of towering mountains, which came to be known as Rah Burdah. The colossal construction site surrounding the behemoth was shattered, its fragments scattered across the encompassing mountains and valley. The iron from the scaffolding towers became imbued with a pernicious power, transforming into Demiurgic Iron.

The settlement of Viing Prolgiid was constructed in 1293 HE with the Godstone at its focal point. However, when the conquerors reduced Viing Prolgiid to rubble, they refused to remain in the locality, claiming an ancient and ominous presence pervaded the entire region.
