In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), two destined to become gods created a horrific monster known as the hecatoncheires. To construct this colossal creature, Ares and TarĂ¢k built massive scaffolding towers. Upon the hecatoncheires' awakening, it shattered these iron structures, showering Sotiisk'lum and Rah Burdah with shards of smoldering, mottled green iron. Wherever these fragments fell, they sank deep into the earth. This iron, tainted by the birth of such a fearsome entity, became known as Demiurgic Iron.

Demiurgic iron exhibits a mottled green hue and emanates an archaic, sinister power. This resilient metal is impervious to fire and corrosion. It imbues a +3 natural enchantment bonus upon any gear forged with it. Additionally, it bestows a +1 divine bonus to all saving throws. Magical armor crafted from this material confers DR5/+3. Rods, staffs, and wands fashioned from demiurgic iron possess a +2 difficulty check against their inherent abilities.
