Type chaos lore

The chaos ruins are areas permeated with entropic energies. Within the Cinazan Front, three of the most severely affected locations were the cities of Hareldocáno, Erchinor, and Sakarumân. Buildings and homes were shifted and contorted, yet did not collapse, while others became clouds of floating debris, buoyed by the newly created earth motes, or submerged in water motes. The fires of war, particularly the funeral pyres, became the heart of fire motes. The wind and climate of a chaos ruin often differ from the surrounding land. The Winds of Hareldocáno, powered by air motes, always blow in erratic patterns, and when they oppose the natural winds, they give rise to great eddies, tornadoes, and perilous storms. The ice fields of Sakarumân, frozen to a depth of three miles, are one of the more unusual weather anomalies that can emerge from a chaos ruin.

The First Horde of Chaos is held responsible for transforming Hareldocáno, Erchinor, and Sakarumân into chaotic ruins.
