Founded in 1520, Sakarumân originated as a frontier trading outpost between the Khazarkars and the inhabitants of Erchinor. When a Church of Set was constructed in the town, it came under the vigilant protection of the Khazarkar Empire. Situated in the fertile basin of Sahânzar, the rapidly expanding settlement evolved into a vital toll station and operational base against unruly natives.
On the 22nd of Witchrite in the year 1830, within the confines of the Cinazan Front, the settlement of Sakarumân was annihilated by the formidable Horde of Chaos. Similar to other locations that succumbed to this entropic military force, the once-thriving city transformed into a Chaos Ruin, with its structures and fortifications becoming distorted and misshapen.
Sakarumân is inhabited by malevolent blights and other anomalous entities; the most perilous being star-born abominations.
