The Path of Yolos Paagoliik is a method of arcane learning concentrating on fire spells. During the Horgon Era, several dozen Kriistvrii mastered this form of magic under the tutelage of a red dragon named Loziik'vun. Over time, these fire-focused mages established a guild called Yolos Paagoliik ("Flame Walkers"). However, upon the discovery that Yolos Paagoliik was being manipulated by Loziik'vun, acting against Zeymah'kein, the guild found themselves hunted. In the Yolos Paagoliik Inquistion, one of many inquisitions in Zeymah'kein history, the guild was ultimately dissolved.
In the First Epoch, writings on the Path of Yolos Paagoliik were discovered in the ruins of the imperial capital Gaard Goraag. The discoverers of this arcane knowledge were an adventuring group called the Scions of Loziik'vun. They revived the Path of Yolos Paagoliik under the guild Enkii, now better known as Embers. This guild is one of four mage guilds that can teach the Path of Yolos Paagoliik. Any other individuals who attempt to teach this magic are branded as enemies of the Path of Yolos Paagoliik, leaving their fate to the combined power and resources of these guilds.
Let no individual inform you that all fireballs are equivalent or that spells are uniformly identical. Certain avenues of the arcane will instruct you on altering a spell's effects.
