The Borngring Pact was an alliance of fire giant tribes dwelling in the Borngring Wastes and the Fangs of Steirgar. Victorious in the Lava Flood War, they attempted to compel the dark elves to trade with them during the Hallabor War, but their aggressive actions ultimately failed. In 130 HE, with no more foes to vanquish, the pact dissolved. Some of the pact's leaders, unwilling to see the unified fire giants revert to their former tribal ways, united them under the Kingdom of Hofthorm fifteen years later.
