Athroond's Camp is a series of descending cavern plateaus. The bottom of the fourth plateau rests at a depth of 7,100 feet. In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), this area became known as Athroond's Camp. It was where demons under Athroond maintained a vigilant watch over the affairs of Blibdoolpoolp. When hostilities erupted between her and her former superior, Athroond's Camp transformed into a demon citadel, extensively burrowed into the plateaus. The original plan was not intended to be so expansive and wasteful. The Soothsayers of Blipool, masters of manipulating psychic energy, are often credited with the "additional redundancies" to the original design.

In the Lith-Crillion Era, the dethroned emperor of Âkhi, known as the Unstable One, took refuge in this area for a decade. Despite attempts at direct assault and assassination, Âkhi ultimately allowed the Unstable One to succumb to the machinations of his closest advisor, the demonic weapon Buludumech. Following the Unstable One's demise, Athroond's Camp reverted to a living area for those tasked with operating the lifts and maintaining the road. While much of the surrounding region remains wild and perilous, home to countless chambers and passages inhabited by critters and monsters, the primary routes through this area are the Buldabus Channel, traversed by Âkhi submersibles, and the more secure land route down Geb's Foothills.
