Bloodtusk Bay lies along the western coasts of Ma'Ohari. The largest port in this bay is Tâchumâz. Since its establishment in 1020, the city's sheltered harbor has served as one of Ma'Ohari's premier seaports. The bay's seabed is littered with the remnants of past conflicts, sunken vessels, and countless bones. The most recent clash, said to have crowded the sea floor with wreckage, was the Battle of Bloodtusk Bay (1800). In this great naval battle, the overconfident undead admiral Jairall Bloodtusk found his death ships trapped within the bay, ultimately perishing with his fleet. The bay bears its name not after this undead commander, but rather for the numerous conflicts fought here between the horned peoples of Ivory Asylum and those of the Ba'lith Empire.
The diving companies in Tâchumâz engage in a continual search for treasure amid the sunken hulks and seafloor. This hazardous endeavor exposes them to numerous perils, as undead entities roam the ocean depths, and the plethora of hiding spots harbors a wealth of typical marine life, as well as formidable predatory sea creatures and monstrosities.
