The lush, verdant Cinyossion Valley lies north of the Fangs of Steirgar and south of the icy spires of Iberak. Adorned with rolling hills, dense and tangled woodlands, and ponds that mysteriously appear and vanish with each passing season, Cinyossion is whispered to be enchanted, cursed, and the domain of xenophobic fey folk. The most prevalent denizens are Satyrs, Sprites, Brownies, and Nymphs. The forest also shelters a multitude of Grizzly Bears, Elk, Wolves, and a sizable Mastodon population in the higher elevations.
Near the Fangs of Steirgar, the forests are home to earth giants, trolls, and mystical creatures left over from the era of the Volgads. The inaugural ironclad maulers were constructed in this region; an ironclad mauler is a dire bear with magical armor affixed to its form. These supernatural entities are genuine scourges, and can readily hold their own against most giants. The southern expanses of Cinyossion are also haunted by owlbears and displacer beasts.
Besides a few ruins, the valley is renowned for its legendary faerie dust. It is widely believed that the production of this enchanted powder necessitates the collaborative efforts of the most powerful of sprites.
The temperature disparity between this locale and the frigid north results in recurrent fogs. The hue of the azure mist is a consequence of the blue-ice that comprises much of the Ice Cap region.
In the initial century of the Horgon Era, the Volgads fled to this domain from Imrik and established the settlement of Aphelzâk. They remained in this area for slightly over four centuries. The ascension of the stone titan kingdom Gadstill Dynasty compelled the Volgads to depart the continent. Majority of these individuals migrated northward across the Nautrek ocean to Elemantum.
During the Cinazan Front, the Flux Pact traversed the western outskirts of the valley. They faced relentless attacks for over two months from the fey creatures of Cinyossion.
A year later, the wolf population of the valley had doubled due to the abundance of corpses. Certain pups were born as dire wolves. The ingestion of chaos-infused meat was undoubtedly the source of this corruption.
