Elemantum is a northern continent of Midrêth. The northern part of Elemantum is home to the Nithians of the Tamlêrran Empire. The southern reaches of the continent present a stark contrast, with one region defined by a fiery landscape and the other by a frozen expanse. These two disparate landscapes are the legacy of two rival Nithian mages, siblings who wielded the power of the Pumice Throne and the Glacial Throne. When these artifacts were imbued with their full might, they triggered cataclysmic upheavals, opening rifts to the distant realms of Muspelheim and Fimbulwinter. Through these breaches, fire giants, frost giants, Thrallrir, fire archons, and legions of fiery and icy brutes have poured forth, engaged in the ongoing Thrones War (751 - present) that has raged for over a millennium.

In 1802, a group of heroes by the name of Crimson Eye went into the southern elemental regions of this continent.
To this very day, I cannot recall the precise reason we ventured into Phaze Keep. Drog'paagol had alluded to the marvels and bounty that could be discovered within Elemantum. Perhaps it was merely Crimson Eye's unquenchable thirst for plunder and excitement. We crossed the threshold of Phaze Keep, and in an instant, found ourselves amidst the frozen expanses of Igas.
Looking out from the towering, slender spires, we beheld a domain of fire and ice. Arch-adversaries confronted one another across a vast chasm. Siege lines stretched as far as the eye could discern. Skirmishes erupted between giants, elementals, and soaring creatures all along the frontline. On one side lay a realm of fire, brimstone, volcanoes, and molten lava. The opposing side an icy expanse of glaciers, blizzards, and perpetually shifting ice.
Therein, we confronted formidable armies, traversed endless siege lines and fortifications, fought innumerable terrors, and acquired remarkable treasures. We vanquished the mightiest of fire giants, several great wyrms, undead hordes, and countless underlings of the Cinderfall.
If we only had more time, the entire region would now be under the dominion of the Crimson Eye! Regrettably, the journey was not without its sacrifices, as the magnificent death knight Nox, a paragon of power, succumbed to the Cinderfall champion, the indomitable Sorenass the Slaughterer.
There was also Nequine the Brave, a longstanding member of the group since our time in the Penal Battalion 321. Imprudently, he strayed from the band to engage a Cambion. He swiftly met the unyielding embrace of the earth. All we witnessed and perceived were the resounding bolts of lightning darting from his adversary's lethal bow.
Then some foolhardy individuals in the group endeavored to stand their ground against a full contingent of fire giants. Regrettably, we lost numerous hill giant "drones" in this skirmish. The formidable Terriberax, a hill giant rescued from Citho-Cûr, also succumbed to the assailants. We executed a fighting retreat, leaving many comrades to perish alone in their final throes, sustenance for our foe's numerous hell hounds.
The mighty Stone Eater, a colossal stone giant, succeeded in toppling a tree that had withstood the full destructive force of Crimson Eye. Not even an entire army could have inflicted the level of damage we dealt to this formidable beast. Henceforth, we revered this hero as the Slayer of the Tree God. The details of his eventual demise elude me, but his memory will be cherished.
Lastly, there was Admiral Hammer Head, rescued from the horrors of alien infestation at Citho-Cûr. His audacious bravado was even too much for me to endure. His demise was of his own making, for he foolishly carried enough explosive ordnance to equip an entire artillery battery. A fatal misstep into a lava flow sent him plummeting into the eternal embrace of Atlas.
