The Dol Jusk mountains, also known as the Iron Talons, have long been a source of iron. During the Demon Spawn War, Orcus's armies extracted resources from these peaks, but after their demon forces were pushed eastward in the Hoof Front, the Quaratun Covenant took control of the mining operations. In the Horgon era, the Iron Talons provided the iron needed to forge the armor and blades of the Zeymah'kein empire.
In the north, the mountainous region is the domain of numerous stone giants. One of the treacherous passages through the range, the Goldrah Fusvok Rahn, was named for the giants' proclivity to hurl massive boulders at unsuspecting travelers.
