In the western foothills of Lok Kreniik's domain stands an archaic structure, erected during the era of the Zeymah'kein Empire. This esteemed edifice was constructed to facilitate scientific inquiry, examining the Void, meteorology, and other observable phenomena.

At 750 feet in height, Galzaras Watch stands as the tallest humanoid-constructed structure in the region. The tower was built with the assistance of Trudnar's fire giants, its massive blocks sealed by skilled Fyrreid artificers. The structure derives its name from the wood elf engineer who conceived its design, situating it atop one of the area's plant-laden plateaus - towering masses of intertwined vegetation, roots, and vines, accumulated over centuries with layers of soil and detritus.

The Galzaras Watch serves as the abode of the Nil Koraaviik and those captivated by the sciences. Furthermore, a zealous faction of cloistered psionicists and clerics have also established their dwelling in this locale, safeguarding the astronomers and the residents from the perilous aspects of the surrounding region.

The Carthun Road traverses the area near Galzaras Watch. The increasing caravan traffic and the expansion of educational facilities at Galzara have prompted the development of a town spreading outward from its walls. This town is known as Batillap. High taxes have been purposefully implemented here to constrain the town's growth. Batillap has maintained a neutral stance amidst the conflicts surrounding it.
