The Hound Gates are a pair of colossal statues situated at the southern approach to the Vale of Mughorz. Passing through the gates leads to Kennel, formerly the seat of power for the gnoll empires of Drugnod Dynasty and Yagamph.
The statues are constructed from a rich brown alabaster and tower 80 feet in height. Remarkably, they remain unblemished by the ravages of time and the elements. These majestic works were sculpted during the First Epoch by the skilled gnoll artisans of the Drugnod Dynasty. The ominous realm that lies beyond these imposing figures is the domain of Yack-Leban.
