The Hound Wash is a river with headwaters in the Canines. This slow-moving waterway flows southward through the Hills of Regalc, emptying into the Galathien Sea. During the reign of the Yagamph Republic (746 - 956), the Hound Wash became a vital trade route connecting the cities of Kennel and Muzratân, as well as other settlements along the Galathien coast.
At the northernmost point of the river, where the waters are navigable solely by canoe, lies the dilapidated and overgrown fortress harbor of Rorthurk. During the reign of Yagamph, commerce flowed from the Hound Walsh, then through the hands of tax collectors, and onward to the Vale of Mughorz.
