The Kautha salt water marsh lies on the eastern shore of Sparkling Bay, situated south of the expansive ruins of Zayr. This wetland serves as the domain for a variety of supernatural entities, including undead lake monsters, crimson deaths, will-o-wisps, and a substantial number of the undead - remnants of the era when the region fell under the dominion of the Black Tide.
Near the northern edge of Kautha lies a partially submerged pyramid. This colossal structure is the Pyramid of Merioss, an archaic Lith-Crillion research facility.
