The Orek river emerges where the coldfire energy of the Draeutt dissipates, transforming into a semi-natural waterway. The river flows eastward through Elyami until reaching Luthil, where it converges with two additional rivers, forming the majestic Dargirth.
The magical properties of the Draeutt have given rise to novel life forms in the Orek. These are presumed to be creatures that have been transformed by residual traces of magical energy. The most perilous of these are water weirds, which are conjectured to have emerged in the region where the Draeutt flows into the semi-natural waters of the Orek.
