Lúthil was founded during the Lith-Crillion Era by Kriavfahliil colonists who were citizens of the Marchenir Republic. They had been dispatched to establish a presence on the world of Bal-Kriav, in response to similar actions taken by Marchenir's arch-rival, the Gwildath Monarchy. To Marchenir's dismay, the settlers established a government more akin to Gwildath's, but with a distinctive twist. After an initial monarchical phase, Lúthil transitioned into a matriarchal system led by a long lineage of highly charismatic queens.
An unbroken lineage of Thrandorian Queens, spanning five ages, perhaps the work of Arcana, or ancient sorcery, or their bloodline's unwavering devotion to the goddess who birthed them.

On the 14th day of Bloom in the year 2465 of the Late Era, the Orphan Queen, the inaugural Thrandorian monarch, ascended the Waterfall Throne of Lúthil.
The settlers of Lúthil founded Lagaer, Herfarel, Lambaril, and numerous smaller holds. The larger holds operated as autonomous city-states, each governed by one of the reigning Queen's daughters. These sister holds, united by blood, led to a stable reign that continues to the present day under the current Queen of Lambaril, located nine hundred miles south in the city-state of Lambaril.
In the Year 98 of the Horgon Era, the Eylami War commenced with Lúthil's forces engaging the giants of Saer Erkjorg. The conflict spawned countless battles throughout the Vale of Eylami, spurring advancements in druidic magic focused on transforming woodlands into natural strongholds. It also catalyzed the progression of arcane lore dedicated to constructing walls of stone and iron.
In 132 HE, Lúthil fell to the Saer Erkjorg.
A breathtaking and visually captivating city at the pinnacle of its splendor, Lúthil is situated at the convergence of three diminutive rivers that cascade over a towering 700-foot cliff. Nestled at the base of the majestic waterfall lies a thriving river port situated at the headwaters of the mighty Dargirth River.
