The Vale of Rerkvorg, named by the Sulukhan, is flanked to the east by the Gelugon Range and to the west by the peaks of Urkthal. The valley is home to two cities, each situated at the far ends of the region. Both cities are holdings of the Council of Bile, with the northern city being Symdar and the southern being Port Bile.
Situated fifty miles south of Symdar and within the boundaries of Rerkvorg lies an area adorned with massive monuments. This region, known as Rerkvorg Tribute, is a cemetery scattered with ornate monuments dedicated to legendary knights and esteemed figures of the Council of Bile. Over a hundred of these imposing structures can be found throughout the necropolis. They were initially erected to commemorate the knights who perished during the Rerkvorg Pacification Campaign. During the 1300s and the early 1400s, knights and their armies engaged in fierce battles against giants, goblins, Kenku, and other adversaries of the valley. Those who were not slain were enslaved and compelled to assist in the construction of fortifications and settlements for the Council of Bile. Presently, the Kenku threat has subsided, as they have become civilized and integrated into the Council of Bile. The goblins and giants now pose more of a nuisance than a serious threat to the stability of the valley and its settlements.
Even in the semi-civilized state of the valley, it is advisable for travelers to be accompanied by robust guards.
