In the Dawn Era, this grassland plain was home to herds of typical-sized creatures like elephants, deer, zebra, water buffalo, and various less-threatening predators. When essential provisions were dwindling, hunters from both sides of the Creation War came to this region in search of sustenance. Hunting was unchallenging then, as the game was docile. This situation changed during the Demon Spawn War. The demise of Mêzelurûs triggered transformations in the surrounding environment and the animals that roamed it. Creatures once simple to hunt grew larger and more formidable, with some even reclassified as dinosaurs.
