Sigan-Kûn is an expansive Underdark grotto situated in central Faeglor. In ages past, it occupied a much more modest area, serving as a floodplain for the frequently inundating waters of the Favánë. When the Nermanis Sea drained into the Underdark, its rushing waters significantly enlarged this lengthy northerly cavern.
A century after the Nermanis flood, when this area was no longer submerged, it was claimed by the Mulun-Dûna. The soil, now greatly enriched, was cultivated by Myconid, producing bountiful harvests of mushrooms and other provisions. However, after experiments with hazardous varieties of pixie dust, they inadvertently contaminated the waters of the Favánë. This, in turn, gave rise to a subterranean fungal forest known as Erochel.
