Sistix is a frigid bay situated in the northern reaches of Skegjold. It lies between Cleoxhar and the northern ramparts of Izgarrêth. The coastline is rugged, dotted with numerous caves and sea caves. For long, it has been the domain of harpies, werewolves, hags, Gradorian and Corralum witches, mischievous fey, and other entities unwilling to submit to the powers that have risen and fallen around them. When confronted by large forces seeking to subjugate the area, they vanish and evade contact, only to then launch nightly attacks, typically targeting patrols and night watchmen. Both the Draguron and the Khazarkar Empire learned that the threat level of the region can be managed but not entirely eliminated. As a result, there are no settlements in the area until one reaches within ten miles of Balmoloch.
