Skein Tus is a scarred vale of the Aerie of Dragons. Beneath a heavy evergreen canopy lie the numerous holes, tunnels, fissures, and great chasms, remnants of a prolonged conflict. This area was a significant battlefield of the Hoof Front (215 GE - 230 GE), where across the sky, surface, and beneath, Covenant forces clashed with the dwindling demon legions under Orcus.
In the year 230 of the God Era, after two years of siege tunneling, demolitions, and magic, a portion of this valley plunged into the sea. Known as Gelomiiz Stov, this sunken landmass can be seen from the great cliffs of the vale. Towering above the Sea of Mourning, these cliffs reach their peak height of 6,000 feet in the northern region.
