Tâchan is a frozen expanse on the edge of the Regadnîn wastes. Spanning an area of 800 square miles, Tâchan's deep blue ice seals a rift to the Sea of Entropy. During the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), the Golden Seven and a captured primordial entombed the rift and its Entropy Arch, along with hundreds of fire archons.
In the Second Battle of Regadnîn, we apprehended Thyrm. Following a lengthy interrogation by Ares and Ditherra, Thyrm disclosed the whereabouts of an Entropy Arch situated within the desolate expanses of Regadnîn. We accompanied Thyrm to the gateway, sealing it through the application of his cryogenic sorcery.

The frozen wastes of Tâchan were conjured by Thyrm's sorcery. This ice resists both thawing and conflagration, its presence disrupting the weather patterns and generating foggy surroundings along with occasionally frigid conditions, with temperatures fluctuating between -10 and -60 degrees.
