Taldrath is a volatile volcanic cavern located in the heart of Faeglor. It houses a lone, formidable volcano that may, in the coming millennia, breach the surface and pour molten lava into the heart of central Cinazan. Taldrath is home to gas vents, geysers, and lava flows, rendering it a perilous destination for those unaccustomed to the region's intense heat and noxious gases. The local volcano is known as Geimmar, named after a powerful Thraedli sorcerer from Frosvirk. The most treacherous aspect of Taldrath is the confined environment, which provides no safe haven from the scorching heat and immense pressure unleashed when Geimmar erupts.

The searing heat of Taldrath scorches the surface lands above it. This surface area is known as Skjald. Smoke and gases from Taldrath seep upward through shafts and sinkholes into this charred, barren expanse. Taldrath's eastern caverns open to the surface, which forms the northern region of Izen'nâth; this area is just as volcanic and volatile as Taldrath itself.
