Tulandur is a swamp located to the south of Kizan. It serves as the southern boundary of the Rumaktharga territory. The swamp provides a sanctuary for trolls, Graagvrii, and an unusually high number of dragons. This greater than typical dragon population is believed to be due to a Vith Alok cell based out of the Lemur Spire.
The venerable city of Rumaktharga and the storied Angrods have engaged in numerous confrontations throughout this locale. Consequently, the marshlands are strewn with the remnants of battle - bones and discarded armaments. Some of the departed now linger as restless spirits, haunting the murky wetlands.
The hulking hill giants, subjugated under the command of Hambrimoth's goblins, conduct intermittent incursions into the southwestern territories of Tulandur. Barring the infrequent emergence of a dragon, these formidable giants represent the greatest peril to this remote region.
The drow have been conducting troublesome raids in this region. It appears they possess a settlement or even a full city within the Underdark depths beneath this swamp.
