The Tydal's Safe is a prison holding the primordial Tydal. She was captured by the angels of the 16th Legion of Ares. Her place of incarceration is within a vast plateau known as Karns Table. The entrance to this location is a towering monument with a brazier of flames reaching 600 feet into the sky. Those at Gortun's Rock claim this fire will endure for as long as Tydal remains confined. The glass steps leading up to the monument hold hundreds of Fyrreid locked in perpetual stasis. The combined psychic energies of these former soldiers of Surtur were fused together by Arcana as a countermeasure to Tydal's formidable mental powers of controlling water.
The interior of Tydals Safe is a perilous, watery environment. It is honeycombed with open-air and water-filled passages and chambers, some of which serve as lairs for monstrosities. Once immersed within these aquatic corridors, one finds themselves situated within the still-living body of Tydal itself. Occasionally, water archons emerge from the walls or rise from pools to eradicate the "parasites" defiling Tydal's corporeal form.
