Vardamir is a sizeable body of water situated along the southern border of the Ashemhorn valley. This expansive lake is replenished by numerous streams cascading down from the surrounding highlands. Unfortunately, in the Year 75, the malevolent transformations that corrupted the Turgon Aeries also tainted this lake, rendering it foul-smelling, stagnant, and mildly toxic.
Vardamir is home to abyssal abominations, aquatic demons, and magical creatures. The most perilous of these are arcane oozes. Prior to the demon occupation of Turgon, these oozes were confined within underwater vaults, a covert arsenal wielded by the wood elves of Lossëhelin, intended for use against their magic-inclined neighbors (namely, Nénharma). During the Turgon Exodus (13 - 25), the magical oozes were liberated and have terrorized the demons ever since.
