Vector KU-1 is one of the water siphons created by Sathubas's aboleth. Similar to numerous other comparably designated areas in the region, it was engineered to casually siphon water from Imgangreth into the Sathubas domain below. Constructed during the Lith-Crillion Era, the passage of water has expanded numerous sections of this 2000-foot deep shaft. This has transformed former refuse sites for debris into water-filled grottos and segments that once flowed gradually into grand waterfalls.
Ophudehk has ceased maintaining the KU-1, allowing water to gradually erode the surrounding rock. During the First Epoch, the city of Brogtrun constructed a dam near the canal connecting to the KU-1 shaft. Due to agreements between Ophudehk and Brogtrun, the dam may only be utilized for regulating water flow and preventing erosion.
The ascent of KU-1 poses a significant challenge for most creatures. However, the aboleth dwelling in the depths below encounter no such impediment. They effortlessly scale the precipice with their sinewy limbs, pausing to rest in the grottoes along the route. Upon reaching the summit, they proceed along the canal towards the streams and rivers that nourish the Cthorgo sea.
