Source natural - Anûkh'grush

Anûkh'grush Crystals were commonplace during the reign of the First Khazarkar Empire. Many buildings in Mannakhôr were adorned with the crystals. The Khazarkar employed Tragaran slaves to mine the Anûkh'grush mountains, often subjecting them to brutal conditions due to the sharp nature of the raw crystals. After extraction, the crystals are typically smoothed by passing them through sand to dull the edges. When reduced to a powder, Anûkh'grush Crystals have been utilized as an ingredient in the creation of sharpness and vorpal weapons.

In the Gulimbor Cataclysm (996 - 1203), the Khazarkar along with most other inhabitants of Gulimbor fled the mainland. The mines were abandoned, and what could not be stripped from Mannakhôr was left behind. Presently, Anûkh'grush Crystals are quite scarce, as the sole source remains the Anûkh'grush mountains. The abandoned crystal mines now harbor a variety of magical terrors and aberrations, remnants of the Cataclysm's passing. Some of the arcane energy that surged through the area became infused within the crystals, transforming them into reservoirs of magical power. This has even led to the emergence of crystal statues and crystal golems, formed directly from raw magical essence rather than the workings of a mage. The Anûkh'grush Crystals found far beyond the mines are over 700 years old, granting them immense value to collectors.
