Mechanus Stones are a natural resource native to the plane of Mechanus. When transported to other realms, they retain traces of Negative Entropy. When amassed in sufficient quantity, such as for the construction of a tower or fortification, they serve as a Negative Entropy Focus. This grants any lawfully-aligned creature within one hundred yards the ability to execute a Smite Chaos attack every seven hours.
On the volcanic world of Bal-Kriav, Mechanus Links have only been discovered at the settlement of Gûn. During the God Era, armies of the powerful Quara'tun Covenant transported large amounts of this rare stone to this fiery mountain, where it was employed in the construction of formidable strongholds. The majority of these valuable deposits are now controlled by the metropolis of Maharâg.
