With an elevation of 52,400 feet, Mount Gûn stands as the highest peak in the region. Volcanic in nature, the mountain is honeycombed with a network of caverns, passages, and mining shafts, remnants of an era when the lava fed an Covenant armaments factory that supplied vast armies.

Both the interior and exterior of Gûn are littered with ancient, crumbling towers and castles. All of these fortified areas, including those that have been repaired by new owners, are constructed using Mechanus Links. During the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), these "Law Blocks" proved exceptionally effective in defending against demons.

In addition to the Mechanus Links, Gûn is also a renowned source for lava stone. The material, referred to as Gûn Helmet, is exceptionally robust and utilized in fortifications across the Lands of Purity.
