The Vine of Núlananya is a natural plant that proliferates throughout the forest of Logor. These vines originated during the Demon Spawn War, when Silvanus was compelled to end the life of the treant Núlananya. This was necessitated by the Núlananya Rift, which had opened within the great trunk of the treant, thereby creating an inter-systemic link between the worlds of Kriav and Bal-Kriav. As Silvanus prepared to carry out this somber task, it is said that the treant uttered the prophetic phrase "nature finds a way" - a testament to the belief that even in death, some part of Núlananya would live on. This prophecy was fulfilled in the form of the Vines of Núlananya, which were the roots that broke away from the treant as his life force ebbed away. These roots have since evolved into fast-growing and remarkably resilient vines.

The Gimrune were the pioneers in utilizing the Vines of Núlananya for practical applications, crafting armor, baskets, and even dwellings from them. The vines possess remarkable toughness and strength, rivaling high-quality iron. Remarkably, the vines continue to thrive even when removed from Logor, but can pose a threat if brought into civilization, as some carry a chaotic taint that may transform them into predatory monsters. The self-repairing nature of armor fashioned from these vines is another noteworthy feature, as long as a portion remains intact. The vines must be carefully guided into the desired shape, often employing dummies to assist in the shaping process. However, non-magical armor made with these vines can expose the wearer to significant peril when facing an opponent capable of manipulating plant life.
