The Godhead's Revenge is the flagship of the Armada of the Damned. The captain of this vessel exercises absolute command over the up to thirty ships that compose the Armada of the Damned. The Godhead's Revenge is the sole ship of the Armada that the living can board safely, as the other vessels are crewed exclusively by the undead and constructed with a hull that emanates negative energy and generally siphons life force.
At the helm of the Skyreaver, I navigated into a dimensional rift. My crew, fellow adventurers, and companions of Black Banner were undertaking a mission to retrieve an exiled Syndic of the Council of Nine.
We had fled a raging tempest, only to encounter another, the heavens cloaked in an ominous shroud, flotsam and detritus scattered across the tumultuous waters, the remnants of some recent naval engagement. Pangs of despondency and hopelessness swept through our intrepid company. I endeavored to soothe the crew's collective anguish. Even the stalwart knight Lazarus necessitated my steadfast encouragement to prevent him from plunging overboard.
We sensed primal forces, animosity, and the sentiments of countless entities engaged in a colossal conflict. Versed in the mysteries beyond our realm, Katrana stated we were perceiving the martial fervor of the Acheron system.
The vessel shuddered as lightning streaked across the sky and thunder rumbled overhead, the sails flapping and the riggings creaking under the force of the gales. Amid the tumult, the occasional moan, laughter, or anguished cry could be heard.
The storm abruptly subsides. In the distance, our objective looms - a part-time Syndic retreat, part-time covert research facility, a formidable stronghold constructed into an islet of rugged, fractured stone. Constructed over many generations, Bana-Zîr is reputed to occupy the entirety of the island, with the majority of its structures situated underground and extending even into the unsettling waters surrounding it.

In 1457, the fearsome Godhead's Revenge was seized from Bana-Zîr by the Black Banner forces. This formidable flagship and her dreaded Armada of the Damned subsequently wrecked devastation throughout the Black Tide War from 1465 to 1486. Ultimately, in the Battle of Bloodtusk Bay, the Godhead's Revenge and her Armada of the Damned were vanquished and sunk.
