This world was one of the numerous realms crafted by Piranoth during the historical period known as the Age of Creation to those engaged in the work of world-building. It was a largely unpopulated and nameless world, just one of hundreds spun out of Chaos by an entity acting on free will, spontaneity, and randomness. For centuries, it remained hidden, its creator's sheer determination masking it from other Arch-Creationists like Bruh Kreniik. This was done in the hope that Piranoth could contain a corruption seeping into Azu'tzor, the beginnings of the Threads of Damnation.
This world became known as Azu'tzor during the Abyssal Release (between the years 7777 DE and 8777 DE). It functioned as a staging and instructional domain for military forces under the command of a demon lord called Ahnuthall.
The Abyssal realm is presently claimed by the demon lord Orcus.
