Marragh

The sixth planet of the Quara'tun System is Marragh. It serves as the homeworld of the Giff. Described by outsiders as a medium-sized planet with jagged mountain ranges, chasms, vast stretches of flat wasteland, and deep valleys, legend suggests these valleys were carved by a rampaging primordial intent on wreaking havoc. This legend holds more truth than most realize, for during the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , a colossal water elemental known as Tydal inflicted such tremendous damage that it hindered the growth of the Giff and other populations inhabiting the world.

The gravity of this world is another notable aspect. Given its exceedingly feeble gravitational pull, objects and lifeforms tend to grow to exceptional proportions. Indeed, the vast majority of creatures inhabiting Marragh are of the Dire variety.

For countless generations, the fractured landscape and immense predators of Marragh have impeded the progress of the city-states in the Atlasfell region. The Giff League attributes this treacherous terrain and its perils as the driving force behind their pioneering development of skyships.
