The Burns, or Burn Wars, were conflicts between Mir'piamauza and the Zeymah'kein. The initial conflict commenced five years after the establishment of Varrogrith. It originated with Mir'piamauza constructing fortifications along the river Naas Horit, asserting dominion over the entire territory between themselves and Varrogrith.
The protracted conflict of Mir'piamauza was ultimately vanquished. Fortifications positioned along the riverbanks were reduced to rubble, and a formal treaty prohibited both parties from asserting dominion over the territory between the river and an encroaching marsh, now widely recognized as the Lair of Tauth'ghourn.
