In 1467, the hill giant chieftains of the city-states Irthorn and Thithak, as well as those of the forested hills of Gorahrigir, engaged in a bitter conflict. At the war's conclusion in 1472, the people of Gorahrigir united under the leadership of Chieftain Oathundor, who became the inaugural monarch of the Kingdom of Oathundor.
