In the First Epoch, the southern coasts of Hiznaar Goz witnessed the rise of two rival city-states, Irthorn to the west and Thithak to the east. As the Second Epoch progressed, these cities, confronted with the growing power of neighboring civilizations, sought unification. By the conclusion of the War of Gorahrigir (1467 - 1472), they had unified under the leadership of a hill giant chieftain named Oathundor. On 12 War March 1472, Oathundor became the inaugural monarch of the Kingdom of Oathundor. Claiming descent from a primordial named Grolanter, the Oathundor dynasty has maintained an unbroken lineage for four centuries.
The government of Oathundor, heavily influenced by the Church of Primus, prioritizes commercial endeavors over hostilities. The empire's top military positions are held by hill giants. The kingdom's Gradorian and Kriistvrii populations are distant descendants of empires that once engaged in the Burn Wars.
