Balmoloch originated as a prosperous coastal trading outpost. In 1447 HE, its burgeoning wealth and conflicts with the local populace led to its annexation under the banner of the Mir'piamauza Empire (526 HE - 1612 HE).
In the Mir'piamauza Civil War (1608 HE - 1612 HE), thousands of refugees sought refuge in this northernmost stronghold of the empire. The majority of these individuals were Gradorian families involved in merchant houses and banking interests. They were led by a prosperous and influential merchant named Dragur Morerenne, who reportedly utilized all of his vessels and acquired an additional 10 at exorbitant costs, thereby rescuing approximately 5,000 people from the ravages of civil war.
The Draguron Syndicate was founded in (1615 HE - 185), with Balmoloch designated as its central hub.
The 185 Peace of Moth terminated the Draguron empire. Pursuant to this debilitating pact, Balmoloch was obligated to function as a vassal city-state of Hel for fifty years.
In the year 1090, following a prolonged nine-year siege, the city of Balmoloch was annexed into the dominion of the mighty Khazarkar Empire.
