The settlement of Troghaven marked the first major establishment of the troglodyte people. In 621 LE, after centuries spent wandering and
raiding, a group of nearly a hundred troglodytes settled along the western banks of the Damazandal River. The site evolved into a thriving river trading
post, attracting an influx of diverse traders. The wealth generated through this commercial activity led
to Troghaven changing hands numerous times. It has served as a vassal state of the kuo-toan empire of Âkhi on several
occasions. Currently, Troghaven falls under the dominion of the kingdom of Zandûl-Khâl.
