In 26 Bliss 1311 HE, as the Vul Gol stronghold was constructed westward from the Aerie of Dragons, it was erected by the skilled Zeymah'kein. The talented Kriistvrii builders named it Vul Gol, or Dark Stone, due to the region's predominant dark gray rock formations.
Needing resources and soldiers in the east to counter Mir'piamauza aggression, in 1521 HE Zeymah'kein abandoned Vul Gol and most of their Hells Womb holdings. The hobgoblins of Hlothram were swift to assume control of the once-formidable citadel. Subsequently, the hobgoblin tribes of Vul Gol, renaming it Vrak-Tror, proceeded to subjugate goblins and other rivals in the surrounding area.
The hobgoblins of Vrak-Tror were renowned for their proficiency in battle, leadership, and valor by the First Epoch. They became a celebrated source of mercenary warriors. The city-state of Vrak-Tror then came to rely extensively on these mercenary endeavors, providing expert soldiers to organizations across the realms, including in Hells Womb, the Aerie of Dragons, and the region of Grashakh.
In the Hobgoblin War (1526 - 1528), the forces of the Tormoran Federation were vanquished by Vrak-Tror.
The regional headquarters of Savagor, Entropy's beast cell, is located in this city.
