In the year 260 GE, a Covenant leader named Set utilized an ill-obtained tool of creation, Danzar-Khâl's Surveyor, to give rise to a race bound to his will. This was followed by two additional races, collectively known as the Khazarkar. Crafted in secrecy, they were sequestered within the depths of Maenedhel, inhabiting the artificial environment of the Otriring Caverns.
Another iteration of the human lineage? Will this prove equitable for the elves and other races of Bal-Kriav?
In Otriring, the Khazarkar civilization was assisted by Furrouth scholars. Overseen by Set, the Furrouth were tasked with elevating his people to the point where they could coexist with more established races on the surface.
In 255 LE, three centuries after his artifact was stolen, the deity Danzar-Khâl located Set. Having discovered the unauthorized use of a divine instrument, he brought the matter before the Hall of Edicts. Set, who would not ascend to Higher Power status for another four centuries, was convicted, and his people were expelled from the paradise-like realm of Otriring. On the surface, the Khazarkars founded Llebres and other settlements along the eastern fringes of Klak-tak.
