What follows is the renowned speech of an orc high priest named Admiral Grimrock, Victor of the Battle of Geb Pass. My fellow orcs, we have emerged victorious from the grueling conflict at Geb Pass. Our determination and martial prowess have secured a resounding triumph over our foes. Though the battle was fierce and the casualties heavy, we have proven the superiority of the orcish race. Today, we stand as conquerors, our banners flying high above the field of victory. The glory of our people shines brightly, a testament to the indomitable spirit that courses through our veins. Let this triumph serve as a rallying cry, inspiring generations of orcs to come. Remember, my brothers, that our triumph was not won through mere brute force, but through the cunning and strategic brilliance of our leader, Admiral Grimrock. His masterful command of the battlefield has ensured our victory, and for that, we owe him our eternal gratitude and respect. As we look to the future, let us carry the lessons of this battle with us. We must remain vigilant, for our enemies will not rest until they have extinguished the flames of our ambition. But with the strength of our unity and the wisdom of our leadership, we shall overcome any challenge that stands in our path. Orcish glory shall reign supreme! Victory is ours, and ours alone!

The denizens of Bal-Kriav are purported to hail from a realm beyond this world. According to legend, an ancient race known as the Lith-Crillion birthed the various races through pure, unadulterated energy. The School of Logical Thought maintains that the races were introduced concurrently and, as such, must have been fashioned by the Lith-Crillion.

The School of Primal Inhabitants asserts that the races were more likely introduced from other worlds and solar systems. This is because the races share a relatively similar age in their recorded histories. They acknowledge that the world was once populated and likely dominated by the Lith-Crillion, a fact supported by the concordant accounts across all racial histories.

Whether you believe the Lith-Crillion were the progenitors of other races, or are considered part of the Primal Inhabitants is merely a matter of speculation.

Around the dawn of the 19th century, a profound change was unfolding across Bal-Kriav. Several prominent empires had procured groundbreaking technologies, granting them the capacity to traverse the Void. This remarkable advancement was significantly facilitated by the endeavors of my organization, Crimson Eye, Inc. We had acquired an expansive fleet of vessels to bolster the defenses of the Orchish Empire.

Needless to say, we are all acquainted with the tale. Extraterrestrials occupied a Giff League void outpost designated Citho-Cûr, and the garrison was essentially eradicated. Evidently, they had excavated a chamber housing a vessel of unfamiliar provenance. In the course of exploring it, the Deep Six and giff discovered eggs and became hosts for these entities.

The company journeyed to Citho-Cûr, vanquished the extraterrestrial entities, freed the oppressed garrison, and secured the abundant artillery and spacecraft as their well-earned recompense.

These weapons and ships significantly augmented the offensive potency of the Orchish Empire. Regrettably, this technology could not be safeguarded. The designs for fabricating specific types of Engines were pilfered, sold on the black market, or seized by rival realms such as the Khazarkar Empire.

Until the eighth century of the Third Epoch, avaricious powers such as the Giff Leaque and the Deep Six had an exclusive hold on void travel. They reached an accord with the Tamlêrran that barred any party from transferring voidships and technology to the empires situated within the Belt of Geb.

This agreement was terminated when the Khazarkar Empire and the Orchish Empire established their own void navies. For the first time in their histories, the Khazarkar and the Orchish Empire became uneasy allies, uniting to contend for the "air power" technology of the alien races.

In the Battle of Geb Pass, the Milzôr-Munal and the Kangrath engaged and weakened the Deep Six and the Giff League opposing fleets. This encounter surprised the Giff and Deep Six forces, as they were outnumbered and surrounded by these emergent void-faring civilizations.

This victory fundamentally altered the status quo. The aerial supremacy over the Bal-Kriav region had transitioned to the indigenous populations.

"Our interests regarding the Orchish Empire are straightforward - might is the determining factor."

Tragedy
On the return voyage of Grimrock to the Orchish Empire, a terrible tragedy occurred. Gruumsh Avenger, pride of the Kangrath navy was intercepted by birds of prey. No less than a dozen Tyrant Orbs intercepted and shot down the orc ship over the Kamoni jungle. Admiral Grimrock Kigorarg is presumed dead.
