The theocratic government of Ba'lith, led by priests of Coeus, was supplanted on 17 Artifice 1695 by the Klomtroller.
The Ba'lith government is the Klomtroller, wherein senators convene in council to deliberate on national affairs. These senators are appointed from the cities, with the number of representatives contingent on the respective city's size. Complementing the senators are military advisors, generals, and trade officials from the Minotaur Trade Federation. The senate's critical decisions are then elevated for review and final approval by Emperor Raxcvillibus.
The Ba'lith government functions as a republic during periods of peace, but transforms into a military dictatorship during times of war. The Overlord General, Raxcvillibus, assumes command, and his generals serve as his War Councilors. The cessation of hostilities is determined solely by the military, at which point the republican system of governance is reinstated.
The minotaurs are a warrior race, much akin to the Githirmil of the Orchish Empire. Both factions favor a warlike state over a government focused on peace.
