| Established | 17 Warper 451 HE |
The Pallid Bone, a religious order devoted to Kebechet, was established in the southern regions of Gulimbor. On 17 Warper 451 HE, in the Khazarkar city of Akann'ndâb, the inaugural meeting convened within a modest keep known as the Impregnable Edifice. Fortified with mortar crafted from the remains of vanquished undead, this unassuming structure evolved into a formidable citadel, impervious to magical assaults.
In addition to executing the objectives of the Akann'ndâb's Church of Kebechet, Pallid Bone established specialized units dedicated to the elimination of the undead and the suppression of those engaged in necromancy for nefarious ends.
In 1002, Akann'ndâb fell to Conclave forces. The Pallid Bone, renowned for their ability to manipulate various energy types, and stationed behind the Impregnable Edifice, were given an ultimatum. For safe passage, they could surrender a cache of magical artifacts, including a legendary relic, along with a cartload of ancient tomes, or they could lend their skills to the Conclave's elite special forces. Witnessing the devastating consequences of the Conclave's actions, particularly the Gulimbor Cataclysm (996 - 1203), most opted for the former, choosing to secure their safe passage.
In the year 1027, with monotheism overtaking the Khazarkar Empire, Pallid Bone moved beyond the Khazarkar borders to the southern free hold of Khimilêth.
The elite guard of Khimilêth, known as Pallid Bone, brings their unique constructs, the cadaver collectors, when they engage in warfare. These remarkable creatures gather the fallen so that their remains may be returned to the Pyramid of Anubis and consigned to the Pyre of Eternal Flames.
