Formulated during the Horgon Era by disgruntled trading interests, the Gorm Krip trade agreement was a commercial rival of the Gnemdos Trade Network. Established in the era of the Talothand (212 HE - 780 HE), the Gorm Krip upheld the ideals of Primus, mercantile enterprise, and cultivating healthy competition.
The Gorm Krip made Talothand a prosperous empire. Some say they were the reason the Zeymah'kein sought war, as they coveted Talothand's wealth and wished to be part of the ancient pacts and relationships forged between merchants across a vast area beyond the Aerie of Dragons and into the remote lands. The Gorm Krip, also serving as proselytizers of Primus, were not well-regarded by those who worshiped Surtur. They were seen as using coin to obtain what they desired, rather than the brutal force methods espoused by Surtur's battle priests. When Talothand fell, the trade network disintegrated for an extended period, in name primarily, with cunning, duplicitous actions, assassinations of rivals, and a general disregard for the commercial rules of the agreements. When the Surticon Empire rose to power, the old ways were revived, with law and order restored between the trading interests and ancient links reopened to distant trading partners.
