In 788 HE,
refugees of the fallen
Talothand
Empire ventured westward, ultimately settling within the
scorching wastes of
Agulbandal. This
resilient and cultured populace christened their newfound
settlement Alreirsoar, paying homage to one of the renowned
twelve bastard sons of
Surtur.
A colossal city, Alreirsoar was built by giants, where rocs
and dragons served as airborne mounts. Constructed through the
tireless efforts of fire giants, stone giants, the
Fyrreid, and others
accustomed to volcanic landscapes, the city resides adjacent
to nineteen fiery canals and lava falls. Comprising obsidian,
lava stone, and strategically positioned elements of
Naanabrak, the
city's front rampart is linked to an ancient line of
fortifications known as the
Yorthrun Tor.
