The Gwaeldior Pact, named for the location where the emissaries signed the military alliance, was forged in 1559 between Paradomea, the Council of Bile, and Celebriän. The accord was signed and bound with an oath genie, then further secured through an exchange of peace hostages. This alliance was established to halt the southern expansion of the Orchish Empire. During the Third Sorrow Pass War, the Gwaeldior Pact repelled the Orchish invasion of Hells Womb.
