The Torgilm Confederacy was established as a counterweight and unified voice in response to the Ba'lith Empire.
By the commencement of the Brothers Enmity War ( 1697 - 1723 ) , the Torgilm Confederacy had amassed a population of nearly 400,000 citizens. Fortified within the confines of swamps, highlands, and fjords, they persisted for two decades against numerically superior adversaries.
The confederacy's core was Ilfongrak. Its second most valuable resource was Marmarath. The confederacy disintegrated when Ilfongrak fell in 1719. Guerrilla forces persisted for an extended period thereafter.
